We have published from the end of our first year of foundation and at the end of every month a digest of things we have learned, including member and client feedback. 1. Thursday January 23rd 2025. Lunchtime insight meeting. St James’s Square. Guest speaker: Will Bentinck. Covering a subject even more important than the ‘coders of data’. 2. Thursday March 27th 2025. Lunchtime insight meeting. St James Square. Guest speaker: member and successful independent marketing director Peter Henry. ‘Your all important CV, how to express it as a unique ‘brand’. And additionally in this session -Tax for the independent portfolio worker. Major change in the employment market in the last 20 years means IR35 and thus PAYE for now a very large group of self-drive workers is no longer ‘fit for purpose’.    At the end of every month now since 2001 we have published a extensive independent report for our members and clients. This is where the detail of what we have learned about this ever- evolving market for ‘projects’ for experienced independents at board level.

4. September 2025. Here we plan an insight event on China 2012-2025 based on the close-up personal observations of myself and another long term T-L.com member in a major 16 MD, IoD, 3 cities mission, to three key cities. Guangzhou ( The Pearl River Delta, the factory of the world), Hangzhou ( Alibaba), Shanghai (Finance) And by comparison, 13 years later, a recent 3 cities visit in the spring of 2025 along with a number of UK city Mayors where Shenzhen, home of BYD and of course Apple City was especially revealing. 5. Thursday October 9th lunchtime. Keynote speaker will be Paul Wilson, Chair of Smart Cities World, read by over 1M people worldwide. Key communicators on urban innovation and transformation. Also, a short presentation by member Chris Brown, top defence contracts lawyer, and successful project independent on his latest book on the theme of ‘Which is more important? Money or Purpose’.
