  1. September 2025. Here we plan an insight event on China 2012-2025 based on the close-up personal observations of myself and another long term T-L.com member in a major 16 MD, IoD, 3 cities mission, to three key cities. Guangzhou ( The Pearl River Delta, the factory of the world) , Hangzhou ( Alibaba), Shanghai (Finance) And by comparison, 13 years later, a recent 3 cities visit in the spring of 2025 along with a number of UK city Mayors where Shenzhen, home of BYD and of course Apple City was especially revealing. Details will emerge in the usual end monthly newsletters. For more information just email info@transformation-leaders.com
  1. Thursday October 9th lunchtime. Army and Navy Club. Here member Peter Charlesworth will be just back from Japan on business and will talk through a historic tech event this spring in the Mansion House for ‘The City’ in which he was very much involved. There will also be an opportunity for a many as a maximum of six members to contribute a five minute address on a change subject high on their own personal agendas. 1. Wednesday November 26th End year dinner. We like to link this convivial and companionable end -year dinner in the handsome Library of the Army and Navy Club ( affectionally called by members in the days after the foundation in 1835 with Wellington as founding patron, ‘The Rag’ ) with our long adopted Charitable Trust www.ulyssestrust.co.uk ‘challenging the young leaders of tomorrow’. The cost will be a simple single price of just £95 all inclusive, with a Ulysses guest supporter speaker. The list of adventurers linked to the Trust is a formidable one. With Any surplus on the costs go back to the trust. It is noticeable that over the years many T-L.com members have quietly helped this increasingly important Trust, founded with HM the King as founding Patron in 1992, with a groundbreaking First British Winter Assault of Everest. And these donations are always appreciated, but these dinners are NOT overt fundraisers. More a steady building of senior management awareness of the critical role that cadets and reservists are increasingly playing, as we all wake up to the brutal ending of the ‘peace dividend’, which arrived as a result of the collapse of the USSR. Now the relentless revival of Russian aggression against Ukrainians shows us the price of the freedoms we all enjoy. Freedoms which those citizens of countries ruled by autocrats definitely do not enjoy.
  1. End January 2026. Lunchtime. St James’s Square. Date to be announced.
